I feel cheap.. I wear Brahma boots I bought at Wally world on sale for $25.00 They work great. I like the way the tread is made, it hangs on the pegs perfectly. So far I have worn them in a couple rain rides (everyday to work rain or shine), no wet feet yet.

If they last a year they are worth it. My last pair of riding boots were $80.00 on sale. I can buy three pairs of these for $75.00 .. Puttin new soles on the old boots $50.00

You wear boots with shorts? I've never been able to see the zippers on mine through the jeans I'm wearing.

Why is there a shifter pad on the right boot? Just for aesthetics and balance?

I have boots up the ying yang. My favorites are the Chippewa Rally Boots. Very comfy and well made. Just bought a pair of Bates lace up riding boots. Great boots and was surprised they made riding boots. I thought they only make military type boots and shoes. My Wellco Jungle boots are nice and cool on hot days. The Milwaukee lace ups I have are a bit heavy and bulky, and the leather isn't as good quality but they're ok. The Xelements I have wore out in about a year and a half. Nice looking boot and comfy but they don't last. I have 2 pair of HD boots as well. The Casper Boot and the HD sneaker type boot. The Casper is OK. Like the look but kind of middle of the road as far as comfort goes. The Sneaker boot I rarely wear while I ride (although I did today) but it's durable and comfortable.
