I've been wanting some slip-ons or side-zips for riding, like the El Paso or Sidestreet. Not sure Ill go with Harley, however, and since Dr. Martens are not longer made in England, I haven't decided what to go for.

For what it's worth, i have 2 pair of Bates boots. One waterproof and one not. The military and police seem to like them. Very comfortable, as a matter of fact, I wear them when i'm riding or not. They are better than my shoes when it comes to comfort.

Those look fantastic, i was very disappointed when i tried a pair on, the most uncomfortable pair of boots i have ever tried on. Make sure you put em on and go for a walk, hopefully they will work for you.

Ya, really, i thought i was going to die. Try them on in the store, walk around and see what you think. They mentioned a "break in" period, i said BS to that, walked over and put on the Bates and I loved them. Best boot I have ever had. I liked the looks of the other ones better, but its about comfort, not looks when it comes to my feet. As an FYI, I have a size 11 inch foot, that's wide and low arches. Not all boots or feet are the same

Nice looking boot, but I'm a cheap bastard. I'll have to wait for the clearance sale next season.

I wear the riddick boots daily as work boots too. I threw in a set of dr shoals work boot insoles on top of the stock soles and they are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. I will buy riddicks as long as they make um.
