Riding Glasses

My 7eye Taku Fireballs have foam on the frames, but it is thin. They do provide more wind protection than any of my Oakley's, but they are a bit larger on my head. They are larger than they look in the picture. I like the function, but not the style. I currently use the Gatorz Wraptors with photochromic lenses(the style Paul Jr. from OCC wears). I think they look great, and fit close enough that they provide pretty good wind protection (I can't speak for someone that will wear contacts on the highway though). I love the billet aluminum construction and the fit of them.

I like these glasses but they were too narrow for me, had to give them to the wife.

Anyone know of a a place to get a discount on 7eye? I didn't know if someplace like Lakeshore HD would offer a discount since they discount parts. I know I could call, but thought I'd ask here first. Thanks!

I bought "Remington" brand shooters glasses, in both sunglasses and clear night lenses. They wrap around the face and keep most of the wind and dirt out of my eyes. Riding in the desert it is hard to keep eyes from drying out, so I wouldn't recommend them for contact wearers. They cost $8 at Ace.

In a word, RayBan! I use the ones in the link below, they wrap nicely to stop wind and they are polarized so they take most glare out of the view.

Just ordered a pair of 7Eye Bora's with transition lenses from one of the local dealers. The Mrs. was so impressed she ordered a pair of Zephyr's with transition lenses as well. The transition lenses are sweet! The sales lady put a post-it note over half of one of the lenses and then took them outside. Sure enough one side was almost clear and the other side had transitioned to dark gray. Very cool!
