Default new brakes ?

I just replaced my front caliper, pads, & rotor. my ? is how easy should the front wheel spin? I'm assuming the new brakes are tight and will wear in, but right now the wheel is tight and won't spin free. I have the axle nuts to spec. it turns but won't spins free....

HD caliper, Lydall pads, Custom rotor.

What kind did you put on? I used cheapy EBC rotors and pads.Turns easy about a half turn then kind of tight then easy then kind of tight.Stops good and no pulsing.Just be sure you cleaned pistons good with brake clean.Should be ok.They need a little contact to work.

The wheel won't just spin freely, as the brake pads typically are in contact with the rotor.
