....As far as cheap, I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I have this set, and it is worth every penny.

any prob's with people seeing you? I'm thinking "gray" isnt the best color for being seen in the rain with road spray and all coming up...seems like perfect "johnny invisible biker" outfit?
have you noticed more near misses or anything while wearing it?

I have a feeling that if they can't see a fairly good sized motorcycle with it's lights on, it really won't matter what you're wearing. They won't see that either.

I used my camo gortex stuff until my wife got me the HD gray stuff for xmas a few years ago. The HD stuff can't be beat. I know it's around $100, but I was comfy for the long *** ride in pouring rain when the guys with the cheapos were either sweating or had melting and shredding suits. Well worth the money, also great to get the boot covers for a long day in the rain.
I also believe you get what you pay for.

Check out Frog Troggs Road Toad raingear. I've been meaning to pick up a set myself. It's totally waterproof, breathable, and packs up nicely into a little stuff sack. I've ridden with several guys that have them and swear by them. I've just got a cheap set I ordered from somewhere and generally I only use the pants because my jackets are waterproof.

Harley High-Vis rain suite. You never want to have to use it, but when you do its great!

I have a frog togg jacket in one of my saddlebags at all times. Also always carry a pair of swimming goggles (much easier to ride when you can see), and a half mask to take the sting out of the rain.

Don't they fog because they are not vented?
I almost died last summer because I had to ride, but all options fogged. I was buying stuff while traveling, including a skull face mask that only helped as a scarf or it would cause fog, a the liquid defogger for goggles, & face shield for snow mobiles.... It was a long trip in a perfect storm & nothing was safe.
