MSRP At Most Dealers

Naw..they are just trying to scam you into MSRP. Go on the HD website and use the dealer locator and start calling around and see what kind of deal you can get. I would say $1-2k under MSRP should be easily attainable. (I assume you meant $21,000)

I have 3 dealers within 25 miles of me. Only one of them hangs the MSRP price tags on the new bikes. The other 2 make up their own ridiculous price tags on the new bikes. One of the dealers is as high as $2500 over MSRP on some of the models and they even have the nerve to say that dealer prep is extra.
I want to see MSRP and then start dealing from there.

Check the Internet sites for dealers all around you....even across state lines....do a request for quote on their site and you will get a price...and probably a call from a salesman...doesn't sound like the offer you have now is bad though....as long it is the "out the door price"...

Yeah the local dealership here is way above MSRP as well. They put the cost of all the extra charges on the price tag. A heritage I looked at yesterday has a MSRP of $16,999 but the tag on it was for $19,072......
I figured one could really work on a deal being sales were way down....or so I thought. 5 bikes in my local dealership has "sold" signs on them. I guess it's a good thing to see being they are a mom and pop shop.

That's not a horrible deal, but I would shop around some anyway and see if you can do better. If you find a dealer that has one that's been on the floor a while you may do better.
