should be pretty comfortable... only one way to tell, test ride/sit on the bike. many folks like bars in that height and higher. my bars are 15" with 2 inch risers, which i think is just right, shoulder height.

I recently put 16" apes on my street bob and find them extremely comfortable. They put my hands just a shoulder height.

At 5'8 they will probablly be a bit tall for you. But the beauty of someone installing tall bars is that you can always go smaller and not have issues with cables and wires being too short. And handlebars are a cheap and easy swap.

I'm 5'-9" and I sat on a RK the other day w/ 16" apes on it. It was just a little too high for my comfort. It had my hands above my shoulders. I could reach everything just fine. Go ride it and see for yourself, it's easy to go to 14's from 16's.

Yeah, but you got the best, look fantastic and they're worth it, right?
RKMCOSCAR: a fellow Biker about your height decided to buy 14" Carlini apes after testing my 16's. Go with the 16's.

Best bet is to ride your bike to a shop that has some ape's in the size you want and have someone hold them in place while you sit on your bike.

Put 16's on my FXD and they are about perfect for me at 6'0".
