Default Nail hole in tire

When i was on a quick ride before work the other day i ran over something. Got home and looked the bike over and didnt see anything wrong. 2 days later i went out to the garage and sure as sh@$ my rear tires flat. So i took the wheel off the bike and pumped it back up and found a very small hole where a nail or something went through the tire. I only have about 1000 miles on the tire. Can they put a patch on it from the inside or should i just buy a new tire? Thanks

you can have your rear one plugged on yer Night Train. I'd just go buy a plug kit and do it yourself. Pretty simple.

You can plug it if it is a tubeless tire on a cast wheel (non-spoked)

The rope type plug kit you buy @ Auto Zone for about $5.00 is probably the best thing to use.

I plug tires on the side of the road to get home but I always replace the tire asap, there's only two underneath me I try to keep them in good shape. Just my .02

I'd plug it with the plugs you push in from the outside of the tire, quick and easy. You could use one of the patch/plug type plugs but it would be a lot more work.
It could be tough getting a dealer or tie shop to plug it, most won't.
