I'd go back to the dealer and raise holly chit and jump up and down yelling louder than anyone there and let everyone know I'mmm really pi$$ed....

I read somewhere that if you take out the speedo and drill a small hole in the back that will provide some ventilation to allow it to dry out and not fog again. Now I haven't tried this myself but it might be worth trying.

Mine does that to from time to time, but has not done it yet this season. It sucks when it does that since it looks like crap and it's harder to read. The fog goes away after a few hours and I have not seen any drip marks inside so it must not be geting too wet in there.

My 07 is like that as well, 18k for a bike and the speedo leaks and it is considered normal in the industry, Grrrrrrr. Never had a rice burner do it. Its the price we pay to ride a bike that has a soul though.

Mine did it. I replaced the speedo at my own expense as dealer said there was an improvement in the new ones. Two months later fogged up again. Ultimately it ruins the background. It also leaves stains on the inside of the glass after it does finally evaporate. My solution was a Dakota Digital. Problem solved. You can get a Dakota digital fuel gauge to match as well. Nice stuff!
