The easy way to change fork oil on a bagger...
6" of 1/4 rubber hose, 2 or more plastic syringes with some capacity, 3/8 standard bolt.
Drilled a hole thru the 3/8 bolt, cut head off, should resemble a small pipe nipple.
Jack up front of the bike,
Threaded half the nipple into the hose, removed drain screw on fork.
Let it sit for a while until it empties out, can be sped up for us with air forks by opening the air valve stem.
In my case I had 2oz syringes, 2 of em, I prefilled 2 of them with my choice of belray 20wt oil.
hand threaded the nipple and hose onto the fork and squeezed 2oz in there 4 times to =8 oz, According to my book I am to put 7.5oz in there. the extra 1/2 oz is to account for the hose volume and minor spillage about to happen.
You can hold your finger over the end of the hose while changing / filling syringes, or clamp shut with vise grip.
then unthread the hose and nipple at the same time and quickly plug the hole with a finger and start the drain plug screw with your other hand, fingers whatever.
Worked great. took me 20 minutes. I was able to open my air fork filler valve stem to speed up the draining and relieve pressure from cramming fork oil into there with the syringe.
Heres the parts.

Yeah, it will work if you have air forks, because you can open the valve and let the pressure off. However, if you can't do that you will only push against an air pocket and get a nice spray of oil in your face when you take off your fitting to replace the plug.........IMO, it is faster to just suck the oil in from the air fitting on air equipped bikes.

You don't fill it through the air fitting, you just create a vacuum at the fitting and suck the fluid up through the drain hole.

I gotta say 20wt fork oil is good stuff. Firmed it up nicely, rides, and performs better. 100% happy
