Oh great - my under 25 kids pay out the a$$ for car insurance now - even tho there are no tix or accidents. What does this mean - the insurance companies are setting us over 40 riders up for rate increases or the assigned risk pool?

It's always sumthin, aint it?

This makes too much sense, but the very foder the politicians thrive on.All the more reason for them to protect us from ourselves.Watchout! these knuckleheads will have in body armor, ejection seats,or try to make life miserable for us, like it isn't already. Why can't they focus on what is really wrong.#1, the deteriating condition of the roadways, more and more knuckleheads behind the wheel of 4 wheel death machines.Of course this makes too much sense!

Obviously you did otherwise you wouldn't have posted someone else's opinion/statistic, and we all know that statistics can be manipulated to show what ever we want them to show, right?
As far as making a point, look at your handle(hollowpoint).
FWIW, that article is not new(s), and has been out for some time

I remember somewhere where these numbers were used that the type of bike had a lot to do with the statistics. Many of the accidents were on sport bikes (read ride like a crazy person) while most of us ride cruisers and touring bikes (read ride like a mature person).

Besides that - WHO YOU CALLING OLD!

Are you co-dependent or do you just like to rescue people?

I am over 60 & ride. I have a son & 2 daughters 19-31 years old who also ride. I always knew it would be my boy that tears up the lawn with his back tire who was in the most jeoprady. It is just something to ponder.

Hey Lion, Your reaction prompted me to do a background check on you. Be careful or I may post the picture!
