I have an '05 custom and had the same problem when I purchased it. This was a big problem with '04 to '06 RK customs because of the design of the rim. MOCO has a bulletin out about this and the Dealer remedied this by reversing the rotors. If I remember it had something to do with the harmonics coming off the rotors. This was done while my bike was still under warranty and there was no charge. Talk to your dealer about it and remind him of the bulletin. If they give you any BS, contact MOCO. Good Luck

I have been hearing about it ,in the place were I hang out and it seams to be a hard pad . sometime a over heated pad would do this also . Good luck
