Default Where can I find this kind of gas tank?

Where can I find a gas tank that has the gas fill cut out, and an extended cylinder/bong type extension welded in its place with the original gas fill welded at the top of the cylinder.

Here is an example of madjapkustoms "**** tank" Similar to this, except I don't like the style of this tank and the location of the gas fill extension. I'd rather it be located in the same place as the original gas fill:

Anyone know another place that makes these style tanks??

Can't answer your question but what is the hose on the side of it for? What's the advantage of the tank vs a regular tank or is it just for the appearance?

The hose on the side of the tank is basically a visual fuel guage, you can see how much fuel is left in your tank sort of like a visual aid/monitor. I usually just ride stripped down bare bones bobbers.

The tank style is mostly for appearance

That's what I was thinking the hose was for, or at least one of it's purposes. I really like the stripped down bobber style bikes but I'm also into classic style baggers. I guess I'm getting old. The stripped down bikes make me feel like I've been beaten with a sledge hammer anymore. Good luck on your quest to find what youre after.

Try posting this thread on a different forum called jockeyjournal.com. I think it's more in line with the type of bike you're building and you'll get better results. If nothing else I think you'll enjoy the forum there.
