Default Should I do it?

Negotiating at the moment for my Night Train plus $2-3K for this bike ... http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...676127444.html .

I have had a few miles on a 300 rear tire and they take some getting used to (to say the least) and I have read these large disp Ultima can cause some grief with repairs.

Also, How do you know the bike is well built ( they come as a kit I think)?

Values are all over the map with these bikes but this seems like a good deal.

What do you think?

What kind of riding do you do? If it's anything more than just cruising the boulevard I wouldn't do it. But if bike nights and short around town riding is all you do then go for it. Sweet ride though. Would be nice as a 2nd bike.

Wow, that is one hard bike to put a price on being so custom, but a couple of grand on top of your NightTrain sounds good. There is a lot of money in that custom with the juiced up motor and massive chrome rear and all. Like stated above, take a hard look at what kind of riding you like to do most as that custom won't be up for too many long hauls. That and don't forget that they don't make the NightTrain anymore. You would be giving up one of the most sought after discontinued HD models. Best of luck in whatever you decide.

Yes I just do short hops around town, (the train is no long distance ride either). This Pro Street is a rigid frame so even worse and I imagine that big Ultima would vibrate a lot?

Don't let the New bike syndrome fool you. That train will take you anywhere you want to go..........But if you have a young back, that hardtail will too.

someone once told me "it's worth as much as you are willing to pay for it"

it looks great, but be sure to get a set of wrenches if you do decide to do it
