That's a nice bike for putting less than 1000 miles a year on. You'd have to trailer it for any real distance.
Like someone said; it would make a good second bike. I wouldn't trade the Train for it unless maybe if he gave you, say, $4k it might be worth it if you don't do a lot of riding.

I would run away from that deal as fast as I could if I were you and ride your night train. The local indy by me gets those fancy bikes in to work on from various small manufacturers and they are mostly crap. Told me one of them was so bad he was going to have to completely rewire it.
