new bike haul it or ride it home
picking up my new heritage this coming weekend, and am wondering if i should ride it home (about a 100 miles), or trailer it, and break it in with the moto-man method.

100 miles? Why did you even ask?
Rode my fatbob home, hardly no experience at all. Got my lady to drop me off, and had a nice enjoyable and memorable ride home. You will miss it if you don't ride her home. Pick her up, find a parking lot and get used to the new bike, maybe stepping up too some residential rodes and then rider her home.

Welcome and congrats. MUST ride it. It is a good luck thing. Just don't play with stuff while on the road. Just watch the road.

I see a ton of people trailering bikes home from the dealership and never really understood it (unless it was snowing). I mean why buy a bike if you aren't going to ride it.
