No more Harley. :(

I've been a crotch rocket guy for most of my biking years, and have never viewed it as a negative term, nor has anyone else I've known. I *have* heard Harley riders say it with a negative tone, but I always laughed at them because their comment always sounded to me to be something along the lines of "Yeah. You F-16 fighter jet may have the best technology, look cool as hell, perform as well as any bike possibly can, and go 150+ mph in the blink of an eye, but *my* covered wagon has personality!" ... and I was like "Uh Huh."

Sold my 03 Ultra a couple of years ago and bought a BMW R1150RT. Great bike and had a lot of fun especially on a trip through the Colorado Rockies. Enjoyed it for a year and then went back to a Harley. Would like to have kept both bikes but, after buying the 09 Ultra the Beemer just sat. There are other great bikes but they're just not the same.

NUMNUTZ !!.. No not you Jason.................
jus thinkin that the seat on your rocket would give me a bad case of Numb Nuts.
I swung a leg over a buds 1125R the other day ( he said Nah its really not uncomfortable)
and got right back off.
Told him I'm at the stage where I like Lazyboy reclineres and Harleys.
Enjoy !!

I had one and then the other and now keep both; very different riding experiences depending on what you're in the mood for. Now I have two Harleys and working on getting the second sportbike.

It would be nice to have both types in the garage (sportbike, and Harley.) Obviously, we can't all afford it. I kept my old Honda CB-1 mainly to keep my insurance down. By claiming the Honda as primary bike, I get both insured for less than the HD alone. Go figure. While the 1 isn't an all out sportbike, it does have rearsets and clip-ons, so the ride is sporty. It's good to ride her now and then for the handling, but I must admit, the Harley sees the most use. Good luck with whatever you ride.
