Default Sportster look-a-like

Just saw this, I mean seriously even down to the breather. Dude riding it gave me the up and down look because I was looking at it. Had on Harley shirts and a Harley mushroom head helmet. Made me scratch my head a little...

For those wanting comparison. Never said it looked exactly. but upon first glance it DOES look like it from the springs tank, breather cover. Cheese and rice!

What is it anyway? I can't quite make out what it says on the tank.

I remember when nothing else looked like a Harley. They had their own look. It was easy to tell a metric from Harley.

They all have been doing a good job of building a copy, but it is a looks like and not the real deal.

Sporty? Not close, even at a quick glance and allowing for custom modifications.

Drive belt on the wrong side
Rear drum brake
radiator
cylinder head shape and no push rod tubes.

(just for starters)

Looks like a Honda Shadow to me. How about posting a pic of a Sportster it resembles?

I use to have one but it had the Bobtail fender and Buckhorn bars. It was a 1200cc, this looks like the 700-750cc.

I hated riding it....it was given to me by my ex-father-in-law after I sold my Sporty. Soon after I bought the Dyna. That Honda was a dud...
