Powdercoated Wheels: Any color other than red?
I see some blacked out bikes here that have the red powdercoated wheels. I think it looks great. So great that an aesthetic absolute may have been achieved, in that I can't think of anything that would look better than red.
My question is: has anybody seen or considered other colors besides red?
I could imagine yellow or orange wheels looking pretty good. I think those are in the same "warm" color "family" as red. I really like purple and green, but I don't know great how those would look. White would be cool if you could keep it clean.
I was up late last night and as I was pondering this important problem on my way to sleep, I was picturing spoked wheels with each wheel a different color of the rainbow.

There's a guy in town (SLC) that has a ratty-rod 32 Ford. It is primer black, with lime green wheels and whitewall tires. It looks so bad-***.
I saw a bike at Sturgis a few years ago at the Klock Werks tent that had the same set-up: all black bike, lime green rims, black hubs & spokes with whitewalls. A little bit of lime green pinstriping, too. Once again, it looked amazing.
I briefly considered going with flat orange on my rims. Didn't do it, but am thinking of painting the tins instead. I'd like to mix up a "denim harley orange." I love the denim paints that HD uses now.

Lots of street rod wire wheels come in all sort of colors. Personally like the black...but that's just me.

I saw a silver Street bob on craigslist that had blue grips with blue( somewhere between mid-night and royal) wheels, i thought it looked bad a$$.
