i have had harleys as a teenager to borrow and use even in my early 20's, wasnt till i was 28 last year that i got my irst "i own it" harley cost was one fo the big factors i was poor/ broke by choice from the time i was 16 till i was 22 i wanted to travel live a "free" life, met a girl at 22 got her preggers started working my azz off t osupport her and the kid then baby number 2 pops out and 20 hour days 6 days a week to feed 3.5 mouths took its toll and i got my leg tangled up in a skidsteer got put out to pasture and lost all my drivign privlidges after 3 years of recovery and learnign to walk and drive again i dived head first into the harley world got my first sportster at 28 fast forward and i wish i had saved up and gotten a newer dyna HAHAHAHAHA.
had i not had famiyl obligations early i would be riding a tweak and freaked dyna most likely never to have posted on here either as i would be on the road some where either rideing or partying with the boyz i grew up around

I was 20 in 1975. Bought my first HD then. FXE super glide. cost $3100. Dont seem like much now but that was still more $$ than a Ford pick up truck back then. Before that I had a Honda 750 in high school. After the FXE i had a 56 K model. A 1979 Low rider. A 1969 Sportster. Another 1975 Super Glide. A 2005 Softail Deluxe. A 2010 Ultra . Had my mc lisc. at age 14. I am 55 now. Had a mini bike at 11. Learned to change gears on a Honda 90 when I was 11 or 12.

Lets see, I just turned 52 last week and still own my first harley I bought 30 years ago, a 1967 Electra Glide.( See sig. pic.) So I guess I was 21 or 22 when I bought it for $1600 and I rode it home. I've owned at least 15 Harleys over the years but always managed to hold on to that first one!
