Forward foot controls and handlebars will help a bit on you case.

Road Glide. All the other feel too small, and I'm only 6'1".

...just admit that Ur taller than the average and the stock bike is made for the average person...

suck it up or fix it like Ur doing and quit crying about it....

lots of us taller riders have to change our ride so they'll fit us....

Test rode a Road Glide today for about 14 miles. I think I just found my next bike. Can't explain why it feels so much more comfortable than the other bikes, but it does. I'll change the seat just because the factory seat isn't so comfortable for a passenger and probably put a real windshield on it, but that's all I'll need to get on the road.

What a great riding bike!!!!!

It's kind of strange that the Japanese bikes fit taller riders a little better yet, Japanese people are generally not as tall as Americans. I don't quite get that. I got a Heritage and I'm considering moving up to an Electa Glide. I don't want to go back to a Honda and buy a Goldwing because it's just plain boring to ride compared my Harley. Now that I've spent about $2500 in customizing the fit and accessories, my Harley puts a smile on my face like I've never had before. I want to be a loyal Harley rider but from a dollar's and cents perspective, Harley is making it really tough for me. Anyone else have this issue?

Hey slowrollin,
I really have to put my 2 cents in here. You really should try my Floorboard Extensions.
In fact I'm so sure that they will ease your pain that I will send you out a kit for free to try. If you like them you can pay me the HD Forum discount rate. If you don't, I'll send you a free return shipping label along with enough money to buy a couple of beers for your trouble.

What do say?
Anytime you're ready.

Can't argue with a deal like that- you have nothing to lose.
Might even try a set myself- only about half of my size 13's fit on the stock floorboards...

these extensions were one of my first mods. I wouldn't take them off for love or money!

yeah, I know... a shameless plug for HarleyGoodies - but I don't care.

I've never seen them till just a few minutes ago- look like the bomb for those of us with long legs & big feet.
Plus, the man stands behind his product. Says a lot in my book.

I put them on in conjunction with swapping the stock floorboards for those from a tour bike - moving the boards forward about 2 inches, while the extensions moved them outward just under 2 inches.
