Default TAX FREE WEEKEND TEXAS

If you are in or near Texas, this is the Sales Tax Free weekend on items $100.00 and below. American Eagle HD is having an early bird sale from 0800 to 1000 hrs with 20% off all motorclothes and then no sales tax on items below $100.00.

Just clothes, but still good savings. Am. Eagle HD is a good store to support, along w/sister HD of N. TX

Just to clarify, only items that are considered school supplies or clothing qualify for tax free status.

Under Texas law, an '07 Road Glide is not considered a "back to school" item.

Don't ask me how I found out.

That argument didn't work either.

Go figure.

I was trying to deduct my ride as a work expense. Put the laptop on it and tried to claim it as a portable computer. Didn't work. [:@]

I am using it as a hall pass to ride with the other firefighter I work with. After all I am taking my 3 year old to the Wiggles tomorrow night, should this not be a reward. After all, I will save money buying stuff tomorrow.
