Oil what oil your suppose to put oil in these bikes. Shoot i thought it was like the lady that pulled in the gas station. I thought you were only suppose to check that when it starts knocking and i didn't no anything about no oil. LOL.

Amsoil here.

Harley suggests a 50wt oil, I'm gonna try Slick50 next!

I use Lucas syn 20W50 but....

Use Amsoil, Mobil 1, Castrol, HD, etc, etc. Get the correct weight, take your time, do the job right and any of them will hold up just fine. I went to Lucas a couple of years ago because of other great products they made (non-HD related) but if they took it off the shelf today would go Mobil 1 without a thought. Would gladly go Amsoil but do not believe IMO it is worth going to "hunt" for, now if it were on the shelf when I am getting my goodies it would be a-ok also.

If I were the OP I'd be more confused now than before I asked the question.

Make sure it's V-twin oil and of the proper weight for the season and you should be fine. I don't think it really matters what brand just stick with the same stuff for the life of the bike so if it fails you know which brand it was and can post a thread and warn us not to use that stuff.
