I work as an assistant mgr. in the parts dept of a Land Rover dealership. Talk about high maintenance vehicles, woooo!

 

I hope someone gets on here saying they work parts at an HD. Then we're gonna have some words. Most of the time I feel like slapping them and telling them to hand over the parts manual so I can look for myself.

 

That should get you some HD parts people real qiuck.

Tom, I got a quick question for you, I got my wife an 03 Discovery and it need brakes and rotors at only 38,000. The dealer quoted $1100, is this right? Seems high but I'm learning quick that just because I got a good deal on a LR doesn't mean I won't pay in the long run. I can't even get wiper blades at a regular parts place! I have a diesel truck and do all my own work. Too easy, but this darn thing, I can't find parts anywhere but a dealer. I think I might be getting rid of it within the next year to get a Jeep Liberty, Toyota, or Nissan SUV for her.
