I have been using 3M Imperial Hand Glaze for 15 years. It's a great, safe, easy to use paint cleaner that will work fine for filling swirls and other minor imperfections. If you have something moderate, oxidation, etc. I recommend a good machine polish and a Porter Cable 7424 Random Orbital buffer. I prefer Griot's Garage machine polishes myself. Now, before you choke on the price of the Porter Cable, know that it will outlast you and you truly get what you pay for like any other tool. It will out perform and out last anything else that costs less. I have the model that predates it, which cost about 150 bucks back in the early 90's, and it still runs like new.
+1 on the Griot's machine polish. The PC 7424 is a good DA, but take a look at Griot's 3" DA. It's an awesome polisher sized perfectly for a motorcycle.

Meguiar's SwirlX or Ultimate Compound, both of which can be bought locally. Apply with a foam applicator pad, remove with SOFT cotton or microfiber.

LOL, I actually own that machine, and forgot about it. I only use it as needed on the bikes, which isn't very often. Most of the time, a once-over with the Hand Glaze and then Blitz Wax is all it needs.

The little Griot's Garage polisher with the 3 inch pads is great for bikes. IIRC it's only about 60-80 bucks. It looks and feels cheap, which it is, but I've had mine for about 6 months now and have no complaints. If it ever craps out, I imagine I can get a new one with no hassle, since Griot's has great customer service.

I use it with the Griot's orange polishing pads. I've got the white metal polishing pads for it too in case you really need to work some chrome polish into the metal.
