Rugby is the real deal but I disagree with you, it's not the same game. Completely different technique, completely different rules. Only resemblance is the shape of the ball and that's about it.
By the way, why is this "thing" called football? First, the real football is a completely different sport, it's the one called soccer here. Second "this" football is played mostly with the hands. <g>

Seriously, there's no reason for it being called football, except to use the fact that Football (the real deal, soccer), is the most popular sport in the world, except in NA.

I'd get one. If I don't like it, I'll put it on the shelf with all of my other helmets. Besides, it'd be nice to see what my passanger is up to. I don't think I'd tell her I had that ability.
