Default Motorcycle covers

I am posting this question here for more coverage and it's not really a model specific question. I am looking for a decent cover to use when I ride to work. I work nights, so UV protection isn't as important as rain and condinsation prevention. I hate coming out to head home and finding a 1/4" of condensation in my seat. So I guess it needs to be of breathable construction. I would also like to be able to slip it on the scoot as soon as I get here so I can't have it melting against the pipes either. Would the Harley cover work for me? Does anyone have expieriAnce with harley's or other makes of bike covers?

Breathable or not, I've never seen a cover that didn't cause moisture problems if you're trying to cover a hot bike. You might look for something in a "shorty" cover that doesn't go below the seat / tank / handlebars though.

I got the Harley cover for my Ultra, and the bottom section is made of a different material than the top so it can be put on while the pipes are still hot without melting on your pipes. Whatever cover you get make sure it is made like that.

Half cover. Easier to put on and off and no worries about the pipes. Get one that is lockable (if needed). I had one taken years ago.

Sounds like you want a half cover because of the smaller size and putting it right on with hot pipes. I have one for each of my bikes.
I also have the HD #98705-85VB cover for Sportster and Dyna models. It has heat shields for the pipes and is a great cover, just too large for me to tote around commuting. It's up for sale if anyone is interested, PM me. $60

Bought a Honda bagger cover and have never had any moisture on the seat or anywhere else and this includes the entire day last summer it sat outside in a downpour.
Fleece lined where it covers the windshield, heat shields where it touches the pipes and a great big H logo...lol

Bought it for one simple reason, who's going to bother a bike sitting under a Honda cover?

Here's another one to look at, I have one but I've never used it. I saw it at the Denver bike show in January, seemed like a good idea at the time.
