CVO Sportster.

A CVO Sportster wouldn't fly. The big twin crowd wouldn't embrace it. Also, it would be too expensive for younger buyers.
Harley is doing a good job attracting buyers to the Sportster Dark Custom and XR. Adding a CVO to the mix might mess up the market positioning they've established.

CVO Sporty??? ......I 'spose if they add some cubes and cams.....add some parts that are VIN# restrictive, special paint/graphics or stripes....Maybe only produce 750-1000 units for a model year,I'm sure there are "some" that'd buy it.....long as it was'nt priced too high on the ladder.....

A CVO Sportster should be based on the XR. Give it real suspension, some good brakes, and tune that thing for racing, throw some carbon cans on it.
And then it will cost twice as much as any sportbike that will still outperform it

I guess I would have to be second in line then. If they would just STUFF the 110 engine in the sporty (yes, twin cam sporty) they could leave off all of the bling (maybe a kinda sleeper sporty) I would definitly be in line.

Figure out how to develop a Revolution-based engine for the Sportster family. The VRod is bigger and heavier, yet goes like hell, imagine a similar powerplant in a lighter, smaller Sportster.

Make it weigh less.
I have a Ducati Monster 1100 that is air-cooled, puts out more HP and TQ than any HD Twin Cam or EVO engine, and is in a bike that weighs 200 less than my Sportster....and it cost less than my Sporty.
HD has a lot of work to do if they want to make a real performance bike, CVO or whatever.
