That Indian is gorgeous!!

As I recall from comparing specs back when I was shopping, the Rocket III is not much heavier than other big cruisers. I have not ridden one, but would sure like to.

A friend of mine rides one, and loves it. His only complaint is the service at the local Triumph dealership. He hasn't had any issues that weren't caused by incompetence by the service guys.

I wouldn't kick one of out my garage.

I rode my Rocket for two years...f mechanically perfect and the dealer was great (Jack Trebour in North Jersey). A little heavy at slow speeds/turn, but not bad. Coming onto the throttle through a turn it was real torquey...you needed to be gentle or you'd rock it off your line. Great bike for bike night; always a big head turner, especially with their off road pipes and cat converter removed. Not a pleasant sound..kind of like a Peterbuilt, but loud for sure.
But there's not much aesthetically pleasing about the Rocket, and riding around town it feels like a big dually truck which you never carry anything in! Silly. I traded down in size to an 03 Wide Glide and don't miss the Rocket one bit! Wide Glide is gorgeous, plenty fast, and she handles real nicely. Plus the camaraderie of owning a Harley is something that Triumph owners will never feel...it's just not the same!
