Friend of mine has a late model one. Seems like he's always having some sort of electrical system gremlin/shenanigans going on with it

Yeah the car tire .. they call it going to the Darkside.

( starwars ..humor )

Supposed to handle pretty decent though (cartire) lots cheaper and hooks up better.

I had one before my V-rod. Fast and comfortable. The gearbox was not needed, just twist the grip in any gear and things happened. You would have to put $10,000 in a harley just to get a wiff of it's exhaust. Will say my friends felt it was fugly! Rolling burn-outs were intoxicating.

The video was really funny, but I don't care much for the looks of the bike.

Didn't read all the responses, so forgive me if I repeat some one else's statement..

Did anyone notice they have the service manual online? Wonder why Triumph can do that but Harley can't? Yeh, I do know the definition of capitalism...

Yup I've browsed through it ( service manual ) !

Did you know the dealers knocking $1500 off the remaining 09 rockets plus free shipping and

giving a factory rebate of $1625 cash off or $2500 in accessories ??

Any manufacturer "can" do it. It's a copyright issue. If you own the copyright, you can distribute the thing any way you like. Including for free. It's a business decision. I guess it's kinda like, "when you're the other woman, you try harder."
