And btw, the RG is the best looking bike Harley makes these days. And that's my opinion so it must be true.

Hey Chief, you ride a bike that is painted like an Easter egg and you slam black bikes! Not a whole lot of credibility there. The sausage links post is hands down the best. This thread is too funny.

Okay, I rode my brother's old Softail Standard 8 years ago for about 20 miles and was unhappy with the ride(coming off a Road King).

Would I tell anyone not to buy a Softail? No.

It didn't suit me just like some people don't understand why I ride an Electra Glide Classic now.

I read the first post, and wasn't convinced. Then saw this post:

So I followed it over here. Needless to say, I'm starting to come around.

Thank you sirchef, thank you.

I had to help out some friends last week. My "job" consisted of getting a sportster 1200. and a softail heritage, back and forth for inspections.

I rode both for about 20 miles, liked neither. Does that mean YOU shouldn't buy either one? of course not.... just means I didn't like them.

I know exactly what you mean. I saw a Victory the other day. Man was it ugly!!! I don't think anybody but a Victory rider could ever like that bike.

Jeez, I mean, really.

And why did you not like them? I mentioned what I did and did not like about the stock RG

Default Touring Hand Adjustable Touring Shocks

Has anyone tried the new Premium Ride, Hand-Adjustable Low Touring Shocks on the RG or any bagger? I'm wondering if there is a noticable improvement soaking up the bumps.
