What do you ride ?

What do you ride ?
Okay, here's the question. What model of Harley do you ride, and why ?
I ride a Wide Glide, because I'm not ready for a bagger. I sat on and rode many a bike. The Sporty was cool, but it felt like I was sitting on top of the bike. I
like the Softails but I also like a little more vibration, so Dyna it was. Now, being a fan of custom choppers, I wanted a decent amount of rake, so after sitting on one it gave me a feeling of sitting "in" the bike, with the mini-apes and deep driver's seat I felt like I was a part of the machine, very cool feeling. After nearly 2k miles now, I still feel that way. The only other bikes I'd consider now are the Low Rider, and Road King custom, both very different, both very cool.

I ride the '06 EG Standard. I've added the stereo and a LOT of chrome & gold. I like the way the stock seat feels. The ride is great. The bat wing is great some days and a problem on other days depending on wind and direction. For the most part I'm very happy with my bike and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have an '06 Street Bob. I rented a Street Glide and a Sportster before I bought it to see waht I really wanted. It was a smart move. My decision was based on the fact that I don't do lots of long distance riding and while the Sportster was comfortable, I didn't care for the engine. So I bought the Dyna because it is lighter and more manueverable than a bagger and had the big twin engine. I'm also about 5'9" and the Bob fits me perfectly.
I've been out of cycles for about 10 years and this is the 4th Harley I've owned. I love the damn thing. The other's I've owned were a '79 Sporty, '81 Sturgis, and an '88 FXRS. Guess I just don't like the bulk of a bagger.

Road king custom 2006
I Like that it's lowered, I'm long waisted and short legged, but the fit is perfect for me.
I Like being able to make it almost an ultra, minus the bat wing and radio.
I like that most everything comes off in a snap.

Ultra Classic. I had a Road King for my first bike. I really wanted all that the Ultra Classic had. I liked the street glide too, but by the time I added saddlebag gaurds and Passing lamps I was almost into Ultra prices. I can take things off the Ultra later. I have always liked the whole line of Touring bikes.
