RE: What do you ride ?
I ride an 06 EG Standard. Bought for the long rides that I do and will be doing. Also wanted a touring bike for a long time. To me it is the looks, sound and shake that sold me. Considered the wing, but I grew up wanting a harley and would not have been happy with anything else. Plus I did not want all the bells and whistles. All I am planning on doing is adding cruise and a radio.

'04 Electra Glide Classic. Bought it used, first bike, first Harley. Wanted something that me and the wife would be comfortable on and all the other non-baggers just look like bitch gettin' bar bikes that aren't good for the long haul and I really like the looks of the Electra Glides.

05 883xlc. I bought it new after my home was damaged by the hurricanes. I had been working a second job as a bouncer at a local bar for awhile to save money for my first motorcycle and I did not want to make payments because we already have a car payment. I Knew I wanted a Harley and frankly I did not want to work the second job for the rest of my life to get it, so I told the wife that the Harley I wanted was not too expensive.
Well after the storms hit and our insurence came in my wife told me to go by the Sportster. Truth be told, I think that she said "go get the bike" because she did not want me Bouncing at the bar and working 7 days a week anymore as I had been doing it for over a year at this point. Anyway I got the bike and continued to bounce till I could get the money saved for saddle bags and engine guards, and to off set the expenses that we were incuring, do to supporting my brother in law while he was "supposedly" tring to repair the house with the left over money from the home owners insurance. Anyway I eventually quit the second job as a bouncer when it was feasible to do so, and now I actuallty get to ride the bike more often which is a good thing. Now I am just wating for the wife to graduate from college so she can make the big bucks then "softail" here I come. Strangley enough now my wife is intrested in getting a Bike for herself. She is looking at the Indian Scout. Cool Huh?
