I bnought a HD Thunder Hill leather jacket 2 years ago and highly recommend it. Ordered through Zanotti and saved some $.
The HD jacket is as comfortable as a leather jacket I bought (and still wear) 20 years ago.

I like the looks of them (especially the Classic Cruiser), but they are half the quality/weight and twice the price of my Made in USA Schott Perfecto (I got it on a close-out sale). And Brando, Dean and the Ramones never wore a Made in China HD jacket. I figure I'd be an idiot to buy the HD one just for looks, unless they cut the price in half or less. I won't even pay the $150 for the Harley prestige jacket I like - the quality just isn't there for the money.
Interesting thing: Last weekend I went in Shoe Carnival lookign for some cheap shoes and they ahd 2 models of Harley Davidson boots on sale for $95 and buy one, get one half price. Then I went across the street to a place called "Brand name Liquidators" and they had one of the newer HD Made in China leather jackets on the rack for $109.
Is this a sign that things are not well for the BS "motor clothes" division?

Why would you buy a Schoot Perfecto jacket without built in protection (Light Armor) over a Harley riding jacket made for riding not just to be a Poser like your a Motorcycle rider.

Have a HD leather jacket, midweight, which took a good scraping when I had minor crash last year. Other than scratches in leather held up well. Lighter to wear especially in summer. Also own Bristol jacket. Weighs a ton but great quality.

If their quality is anything like it used to be, it'll last forever. I had an old "Cycle Champ" jacket (I think they're called traditional style now) back in the mid 70's. That jacket lasted until I gave it away (mine shrunk too ) to someone in 1999. The only issue it had even then was the sleeve zippers wound up needing replaced due to the threads finally giving out.
