113 Kit 58mm TB Air Cleaner

My post-deployment gift to myself is a SE113 kit. One of the dealer oversights - and ANOTHER delay on the project - was that my RSD air cleaner will not adapt to the 58mm TB.
They've told me that they'll foot the bill for the SE AC (not sure if this is the hideous "football" or not).
1. Does anyone know a way to make my RSD cleaner fit to a 58mm?
2. If the SE AC turns out to be a Stage 1 football cleaner, how do I tell which after market air cleaners will fit onto a 58mm? The websites seem to omit this spec.

The SE high flow for the 58 uses the stock type cover yes, or you can put any cover that will fit the stock ac too. You can use the SE heavy breather also,it fits the 50 and 58 both, same unit fits both , uses a little sleeve to neck down for the 50 or you use nothing for the 58. Wood Cams has an air cleaner that fits the 58 but I have no idea what that unit looks like or how far it sticks out. I had the SE high flow on my 58 and it was uncomfortable on my right leg and I recently swapped it out for the SE Heavy Breather and I love the room it gives my right knee , no more bowlegged riding style. There are not any other air cleaners that I know of that will fit the 58, unmolested. The SE High flow also only uses a HD paper filter there are no other filters that will fit that air cleaner that I know of.

Oh by the way the SE highflow for the 58 does not come with a cover at all , you re-use you stock cover and the give you a screaming eagle medallion to replace your stock medallion if desired.

Yes that is the SE Heavy Breather, that is what I am running on my 58mm TB currently and I like the fact that I don't have to bow my right leg out to go around the SE High Flow with my stock cover any more, I think the 58mm TB is slightly longer than the stock TB on my bike cause I don't remember the stock setup having been sticking out like that. There will probably be other bikes at your, dealer to sit on with the Heavy Breather installed, that is how I found out that it gave me a better fit. You may be able to adapt your RSD to your 58 I think the bolt pattern is the same , only the throat of the 58 is bigger, but once you start grinding on the RSD there would be no putting it on a stock TB anymore I fear. I hope you find a solution you like!
