I bought bigshot pipes (black) and finally got around to install pipes and i open the box, I find chrome. I should know better to allways look before leaving store, but was in a hurry that day (work) now got to take back and wait another week. The bad thing is I pulled the old pipes off before I looked.

 

I know what you are feeling right now. A year ago I bought a set of slip on mufflers from a dealer and just took them home. Went out to the garage the next day took old mufflers off and opened boxs for new ones and found out somebody put there old take offs and put them back in the boxes and no one a dealer checked them before restocking them.Not to say I was really PO'd that day

 

I know a guy that tried that with an old carberator, the auto store open the box to check it out. You should have seen the look on his face, I laughed my *** off at him right there in the store.

 

That sucks pretty bad no riding for a while

 

I've been known to do dumb stuff like that.

 

As I live out in the sticks I have learned that lesson the hard way myself..

 

Now you have a reason to buy another bike!!

 

Sounds like my luck, Just bite it and put the old ones back on so you can ride.

This the first time you ever done that? Wished I could say I have learned that lesson but every once in awhile I get lax and make that mistake myself again.
