Electrical tape around the bars, then twist grip on in the direction of the tape. It will be good and solid and still be removable if needed down the road

yeah hair spray, really! I didn't believe it either but it works like glue. I would use it again no problems at all.

Motocrossed for many years and all i ever used was hairspray and never had one come loose on me. Also seems to make it easier to put them on as its pure liquid till it dries up
