Hard to believe how crazy people get when they bid.

The same rail brand new from Zanotti's is $150 plus the backrest is another $80 I think.

Ebay used to be a place to get good deals, but now not so much. People selling either know what they have or you get some idiots bidding way too much. I've seen used CDs going for more than you can get them brand new.

 

Geez...I bet that seller is smiling...

 

Buy and Sell and yes it is amazing what will sell and what won't and how high some things go, but have been to live auctions and the same thing happens.

 

That's what happens when you don't do your homework.

 

I tried getting some used Deluxe saddle bags on there but they always ended up being more than you could buy them new from Zanottis. Unless it is a "buy it now" item I don't even get involved. Waste of time and you aggravated at people's stupidity.

 

Quit looking at the flsts bars. I'm looking for one!

Actually, I paid approximately 190 total for both pieces from Chicago Harley (low back rest)...but they take a bit to get it too you and precharge your credit card...There has been a rumor that Harley has stopped selling them...so far as I can tell it's not true. Looks like some people believe it....sigh
Hmmmm....maybe I should sell mine on ebay and get another!!


Rhubarb - Just buy it from Chicago Harley or Zanotti's I tried for a bit on ebay and that stuff was going on too much. Seems like as soon as you bid on it the price goes up exponetually.... The one I bid on didn't sell the first time and the minute I bid on it the second time around the price went over the catalog price.

 

Auction fever! It makes people stupid!
