1. Unsure about UK laws regarding the Python Slip-Ons or if they'll work on your bike.
2. My brother has them on his 09 Road King they were on the bike when he bought it new 3/09(quieter than mine).
3. I have Python Staggered bought new 2/09, no signs of rust, yet... I've driven in my share of rain, though I may not see as much in the United States Midwest as other parts of the country/world... I do like the SOUND of them, combined with other mods, they have improved my dyno numbers in so much as I inquired at several places about changing from the Pythons for better performance, and aside from going to a PRO-PIPE 2->1 it's my understanding, the couple points improvement on the dyno, does not justify spending the money yet for different pipes...

I have Python staggers on my 2005 FXDC. My experience has been that they are a top quality product.

Mine have been on since the bike was practically new (about 5 years). No issues at all. I love the sound and get a ton of compliments.

I've never had a reason to call the factory so no comment on the telephone service.

I've scraped the bottoms on twisties alot and still no rust, although I put a coat of wax on the shields each time the bike is detailed. The sheilds don't get hot enough to burn the wax off.

The downside, if you condsider it a downside, is they are loud on the highway. I typically wear ear plugs on long interstate runs. I was stopped once by a riding buddy who told we had to change places becasue he was riding just behind and right of me and said he couldn't take it any longer.
