Basically, you have the traditional double breasted. And then you have euro which is a straight zip to the throat ordeal. The euro is a lot tighter up in the shoulders whereas a traditional has a more loose feel to it.

I'm just curious. A lot of people have different tastes in what they look for when buying jackets, and to me it all comes down to how it fits. I like something a bit snug to the fit, so when I fall off it doesn't turn inside out and not do it's purpose.

Actually, I like the traditional old biker style jacket the best. You can unsnap the collar and zip it all the way up when it is freezing and either way nothing is flapping around and it just feels damn comfortable on and off the bike. I outgrew (around the waist) my old 1978 Harley Cycle Champ but before I did it served me well for many miles and many years. Some lucky person is still wearing that jacket, I hope.

I think the "Euro" style is collarless, vs. the more prevalent collard style guys on cruisers wear. I like both so I have one of each. I guess some of the practical difference is that when riding a "cafe racer," the bars are low and the collar will dig into the back of your neck. I never noticed a fitment difference. But then I've only worn a few out of many available out there.

Funny, I never knew they were thought of as Euro or regular. I always called the one a 'wild ones' jacket. Not my style...
Been wearing the same 'Euro' for the past 33 years. I like the tight fit and being able to snap the collar shut in the cold. I've worn it on my cafe, cruiser, crotch rockets and now my Fatboy.

Actually i have both. I interchange them based on the weather since the Euro style seems warmer to me i use it when the weather is colder. It also has a couple of the reflective lines across the back that might help at night time.
whats your problem? there is nothing wrong with the way he described himself! if he is bigger and broader, thats how he is,nothing about humility!!
