Pretty darn sure you are correct here.....

Amber signals do not have a minimum distance to the tail light...

Red tail light/red turn signals have to be a certain distance apart to distinguish between the lights....

Can't seem to Google proof, but pretty sure this is correct.

 

Here is an interesting note...The modules are probably all the same. The difference appears to be in the lens supplied with the module. I just bought the module for sportsters and softails as it has the small red lens'. It was a direct plug in. It works fine on my 09 streetglide. Made me a happy camper....thanx, stamper.

 

Does anyone know if they make a dual setup type device? Other words, one Module to make your turn-signals and brake lights into one to INCLUDE them to have a Blinking brake light (i.e "Back-Off" Brake Light Signal Module)?

Or..do you have to purchase two separate modules?
