I guess there's nothing wrong with owning a low mileage bike, if you have the money to spare and let it just sit. More power to ya.

Maybe some one told him they go UP in value.... and he bought it as an "investment"
Takes ALL kinds. There's a lot of folks who buy bikes, "just to have them", and folks that have several bikes, at once.

Then you have guys like THIS

"Current retail book is this. Kelly Blue Book says $11,710. NADA says $10,410. I want $15,500 "

The Duece ad in Maryland rolls me. You can sure tell from reading his ad he does not want to sell the bike.

And I see in the SF ad, another bike in his gargage. Maybe that is the one with the miles. (You know, 354 of 'em!)

I don't see how having only ridden 69 miles makes him a stupid fvck...
Well, I'm not gonna call the guy names or anything...but, if I spent that kind of money on something, and never used it, I'd be thinking to myself, "You stupid fvck!"

I was thinking the same thing. Sometimes we make plans and get dealt a bad hand along the way. Could of had a sick wife and made plans to tour the country together and it never worked out, who knows I am sure he had his reasons.
