this bike doesn't fit MY definition of a rat bike. it looks more like a cry for help from a hoarder.

As for the bet...
I'd laugh even harder than I am now, if we all found out that bike was staged by somebody like Jay Leno...

It's not my cup of tea, but each to there own. I'd still ride with pride beside them.

my best buddys dad has know (for many years) a guy with one of the most famous rat bikes of all times... his rat bike has been to almost every continent and even was asked to ride it on the great wall of china, which he did. its been featured in many different biker rags... guys one hell of a good guy and i got to meet him a while back. the bikes name it aunt betsy/bessie. he won at dayton last year (and many other years also) and was featured in one of those free biker rags at harley stores... its an amazing looking machine. for anyone who cant respect a machine or a guy like that, youre missing out and i feel sorry for you...

People want attention in many different ways,

This bike just reflects the owners method of attracting attention to himself,

Personally, I prefer this method of gaining attraction,

I like the look of the bike. And if the owner is traveling or lives on the bike (true freedom) I have no issue with the stuff strapped to it. I bet it is paid for.

My wife asks why anyone would ride a bike like that and I always reply "Yes sir officer I don't mind if you search the vehicle, just put everything back where you found it."

I would ride next to him, probably not behind him, but defiantly next to him with pride. Wonder how much that thing weighs?
