Help any info will help ,i am trying to setup my softail for a ride to belize from costa rica and the original wind sheild suck *** harley blew this one any other after market any better also touring seats harley or corbin? help tnx

Check out Memphis Shades for windshields. Very good products from a very best company.

im about six five and sit kinda high in the stock saddle the wind wants to remove me sunglasses with brute force gogels no sweat but dont like the red baron look

I have a standard height tinted quick disconnect Harley windshield. Its almost just as bad except with awful wind buffeting.

Your buffeting may be coming from under the shield. May need those lower wing things to settle it. Some have said that adding a leather bag to the front of the forks also helps a bunch.

Yes most of the wind feels like it comes from the bottom and sides. If feels really unstable at higher speeds. I haven't tried the bag to see if that helps or not, nor have I found any FX style lowers. I know I feel safer without the windshield and the wind blowing straight on me. I was looking at buying a WindVest 14x14 and see how that works.
