The Chester family that owns dealerships in AZ,ID, and WY, just took over our dealership in Reno,NV and I was wondering those of you that know them and they're dealerships what do you think. Are they good people to deal with? The folks that just sold it were awesome people, when you walked into the store it was like walking into your friends house. Just wondering what you think.
Thanks

My dad lives in Az. and has dealt with them before, says they are well ran dealerships. Other than that thats all I know. Can't really speak on knowing the old owners, I am glad they are keeping the staff intact

Overall I've had good experiences with Chester's HD in Mesa, Az.
They are an MSRP dealer, meaning they don't mark up the bikes . When I was looking to buy my '08 Anniversary WG, every other dealer in the Phoenix area was asking well over MSRP for them, Chester's wasn't, that's why I bought from them.
I've been told that the father made his money in the banking industry and bought the dealerships for his sons. If that's true, each dealership may be run differently.

When they bought Chosa's, they did AZ a favor.
I was treated a lot better at Chester's than I was at Chosa's when buying bikes. (Even though it is some of the same personnel.)
There is no break on parts. They are MSRP. They deal on bikes. I don't know about service because I never take my bike to a dealer for what I can do myself. And I have a good independant for what I can't or don't want to do.
