I'm hoping American businesses realize the public's irritaion at cheap and sometimes unsafe Chinese products is growing . There's a market out there for quality.

Actually an American cannot buy Toyota stock, it's called an American Depository Receipt , look it up , you make/lose money based on the stock price but don't own stock per se.
