Saw The ad in AI magazine & thought it looked like a good time. Only 150mi from me & thought it might be a great summer ride in July. Any info would be great on lodging etc.would be great.

Went there last year and was my last visit. Not too big at all and they grab you for 10 bucks admission. Been to a lot of bike deals a lot larger than this and no admission. Just a one timer for me!! Dont know the distant for you, but ya might google Thunder in the Valley in Johnstown, PA. Easily 4 to 5 times the siiiiize and FREE!

Been there once, in 2006. We're good friends with a band from SC (DB Bryant) who played Friday night at the campground. We're not into camping so we booked a room at the Ramada in Morgantown, close to the road to the campground (12 miles).
We had a great time partying with the band after the concert but honestly, if it was not for DB Bryant playing there, we wouldn't have gone. Not much to do and see and the venue is spread across several sites, very distant from each other. Couple of very nice biker bars though, Archie's was our favorite.
Like someone already mentioned, we much prefer to go to Thunder in the Valley in Johnstown PA. Talk about fun!

I live out in Baltimore but I grew up and went to college in Morgantown. Got my Night Train about a year ago so I rode home for Mountainfest last summer.

Didn't do a whole lot on the grounds, mainly used it as an excuse to ride the bike home for the weekend and visit with family, but did some stuff and had fun.

What kind of lodging are you looking for? campground? budget hotel? high end hotel? bike parking? Give us an idea of what you're looking for and I'll give you a few recommendations.

Tons of great riding around Morgantown. If you've never been down before you should come check it out.
