I don't want a loan. I don't like them, and to me, it's worth it to get something that's not quite as much pure awesome, to know that it's all mine. Just my thought. I feel a little more comfortable on a Sporty, in all honesty, though. I'm not a small guy, but I've sat on both, and the riding position is just more comfortable on the sporty.
Thanks!
thats why i said "...if you can see yourself on it come the end of the riding season" if you know your gonna keep it for atleast a few years and are comfortable on it then your ahead in that respect, best bet is sit on the both of them, and if you can take em for a test run which ever one makes you happiest/is most comfortable to ride is the one you should go with, regardless of price difference never put a price limit on comfort or happiness if the $5999 bike is more comfortable then the $3k one then try and negotiate with the seller and if he wotn negotiate then save a bit longer. just saying

That'd be the one. The '02 is at Finks HD. I'm going to check them both out today, so we'll see what happens...

We just bought an 07 883 off of Craigslist for $4200.
2200 miles, V&H, Danny Gray solo seat, Memphis shade, HD saddlebags..
looks brand new because it was garage kept.
I think you will get MORE for your money staying away from the dealers. Alot of people selling bikes right now. Look at Ebay, Cycle Trader and what ever local source you have available to you.
If you have decided on the bike at the dealer...just get it.
The only thing that is important is for YOU to feel like you got a good deal.
You will get alot of good feedback from this site! Use it to your advantage.
Best of luck and welcome

Oddly enough, the Craigslist listings people have their bikes for are right at the same or more than the dealers. I'm not sure if its just people thinking since its spring that they're worth more than they are, or what. I'm open to buying anywhere, though.

Yep, Finks has several. I'm sure I'll be posting back later today one way or the other. Today is my girlfriend and my anniversary, so it might be a while, but still. She did finally say she's excited now, though.

This like new bike needs a new home. This bike only has 4000 miles and has been kept in the garage. Some extras include back rest, passenger pegs, sundowner seat, detachable windshield, and luggage rack. Want further information or more pics just ask.
