well, i know the moto co is trying to cut costs, but their display in Daytona this year 2010 was a sad sign, esp when the metrics had taken over the civic center. a changing of the guard i guess. i guess i was mostly disappointed with their not having any 'new' multifit displays and such. maybe they will expand their 'tent' next year. still sad to me...i guess i should be glad they did show up!

 

Doing the Sturgis show in the parking lot was an eye-opener as well. I say good for them. Although I like seeing the new products on display, if they can save a few bucks by using a tent or parking lot that works for me as well. Maybe the issue was the municipalities squeezing the golden goose for site rental? From what I hear, Bike Week this year is going to cause several business' to rethink their pricing.

 

Definetly not as nice as years past. The Convention Center was always a hit, those tents on Beach Street just didn't cut it. At least they were there.
