A grandmother is dead after hitting a car while motorcycling down Highway 1 earlier this week.
Sandra Hunter died Tuesday afternoon of her injuries.
Hunter, of Duncan, crashed into the car near Cobble Hill on Monday afternoon.
RCMP spokesman Sgt. Rob Webb said alcohol was not a factor in the crash but police are trying to determine if speed played a role.
Hunter, in her 50s, had a 24-year-old daughter and a three-year-old grandson.

Why do people feel it neccesary to post this type of stuff... I like living my live everyday, I dont need someone constantly reminding me that I will die someday.
Yes, we ride motorcycles... Yes they can be dangerous... I knew that when I bought one, but I don't need DAILY reminders of that...
I'm sorry this woman died, but all thread does for me, is taint something that I love to do very much.
I'm Sorry, but I rather think of the good things in life.

Well, I had a long drawn out reply made, but some security token was fricken missing and now it's gone.
Don't want to see it, don't open the thread. Otherwise, learn about it, and join the fight to make biking safer.

I find it odd that someone will open a thread, knowing the content, then just post their objection to the content instead of ignoring the thread to start with.
Oh, I know, it's so they can up their post count.
